ITK-Internationales Transport Kontor was founded in 1925 with the purpose of establishing a personalised and professional international freight forwarding, customs brokerage service, warehousing and trucking company.

With this same philosophy and expansion of business over 90 years, we have developed a reputation as one of German leading independent freight forwarding and logistics partner in the area Karlsruhe.

The progressive nature and continued growth of our business is supported by a wide scope of services, equal to any multi-national forwarder operating in Germany.

Up to now we are still a private owned company, which enables us to make decisions quickly, giving us the flexibility to react to changing markets immediately.

In addition to freight forwarding and customs brokerage, ITK operate as inhouse logistic provider and offer outsourcing products for several industrial enterprises.

ITK are IATA certified since 1977 , LBA / RAC accredited by Civil Aviation Authority (Germany’s airfreight security program) AEO certified & our warehouse is fully customs bonded. We also hold IFS food safety accreditation at our warehouse facility. Many of these services are offered from our 8000 square metre facility in area Karlsruhe near Frankfurt / Mannheim
